ruby's ONE...

We had the pleasure of shooting Ruby's six month session, seen here... So we were thrilled to hear that she was coming back for her one year session, she did not disappoint us.

She still has the most amazing sweet personality, and had us all laughing as she entertained us with her own fake laugh!

Mom decided that she'd like to try something different this time, so we took Ruby to the park to play, only thing is, she didn't like the grass on her bare tootsies too much... go figure!

actor for hire...

Thank goodness we don't work with actors often... Jerry contacted me for some acting head-shots and we didn't realize how demanding these 'thespians' could be...

...The first thing Jerry insisted on was that we remove any red M&M's from his candy bag before he would even look at the camera. We had to explain that we were losing sunlight to get any good images, but Jerry pouted until my mum removed every last one. His next demand was that his purified spring water was at the temperature of 72 degrees, so whilst we waited for his water to chill, he proceeded to shout at us for not having any classical music playing to calm his nerves...

Anyway luckily, in between his temper tantrums, we managed to get some great shots!

I'm trying my hardest to catch up with everyone's galleries during this crazy holiday season, but I had to post a teaser for this lovely couple.

We had so much fun, especially as we had such beautiful subjects. 'Mom-to-be' is absolutely stunning and 'dad' was so much fun! Their new addition is going to be one lucky baby to be born into such a loving family... Can't wait to meet your new angel... xoxo

We like to schedule our newborn sessions preferably within the first two weeks of life so that we can get those sleepy newborn shots. However, even though Blake fit our age criteria, we had a bit of difficulty getting this little man to sleep, he must be the most alert newborn we've ever had the pleasure of photographing, (but, once outside, he soon drifted off into dream-land!)

Dad was such a good sport by coming home from his office to get this important shot!

Beautiful, bright, sparkly eyes... He's sure to be a little heart-breaker!
